Monte Vista

Mission Statement:
Helping little hands to pray to God, love others and help their friends.

Statement of Faith:
Our program is designed to provide developmentally appropriate experiences that involve the whole child: cognitively, physically, spiritually and socially.
“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” (Luke 2:52)

It is our desire that we teach every child at school how to grow in wisdom (cognitively), stature (physically), in favor with God (spiritually) and in favor with people (socially).

Our primary purpose is to help each child value themselves as a unique individual created by God. Then they can learn to love others and help their friends.

Through morning prayers, chapel and everyday interactions, we teach children that the Bible is true, God made us, and Jesus is God’s Son. We teach children how to talk to God and how God wants us to live. Most of all, we teach them that Jesus loves each of them so much that He came to earth to share His love with us.

I am curious!
I want to know, discover, explore… and tell you all about it!
I am strong outside on the playground.
I can do projects with my hands that require great concentration and skill.
I know God loves me.
I can talk to God anytime.
I know how to express myself to my friends and teachers.
I am learning the concept of self-control.
I know how to share with others.
I know how to have fun with my friends!
